Help Charlie survive and find a safe place to live

Charlie is a 25-year-old disabled and autistic trans man in urgent need of your help. He was kicked out from the household where he lived most of his life and has nowhere to go. Bouncing between hotels, he is currently homeless and doesn’t have a stable place to stay. (His current room is booked until August 1st, though we're hoping to extend this stay for a few more weeks after he receives his next disability check.)He’s already dealing with serious chronic illnesses (Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, seizure disorders, POTS, mast cell disease, gastroparesis, ME, trigeminal neuralgia, a history of pulmonary embolism) and his mental health condition suffered deeply from years of trauma he faced in an abusive household. (He struggles with conditions such as depression, generalized anxiety disorder, OCD, and CPTSD, as well as being autistic.) Juggling these conditions adds several layers of complexity and logistical difficulty to keeping Charlie alive and safe.If anyone has a safe place he could stay - even temporarily - or knows any LGBTQ-friendly resources that can help, please let us know. You can also donate through Paypal, CashApp or Ko-Fi ! Even a few dollars can help with covering emergency shelter, food, personal care basics, medical supplies and transportation. Please share this post to spread the word and help give Charlie a fighting chance at a better life. Thank you all so much and stay safe!

Urgent:

If anyone has a room, looking for roommate or just a little place for temporary stay, please DM! At this point we are desperate and not restricted to a single state, any place in the US will work as long as it is safe.

Updates:

June 19, 2025:Thank you for your support! So far, we have raised $320, which were used for food, water and personal hygiene items.
July 9, 2025:Charlie managed to convince his household to let him stay until July 19. After that he'll be staying in a hotel until we find a safe place for him. Thanks to everyone who has been helping us!
July 20, 2025:Charlie safely arrived at the hotel room. (Thanks to our friend Fee for making it happen by helping with transportation costs!) His current room is booked until August 1st, though we're hoping to extend this stay for a few more weeks after he receives his next disability check.
July 23, 2025:Thanks to Heather, and others who made donations! Charlie was able to get enough food and personal hygiene items to stay comfortable for the next couple weeks💙
August 11, 2025:Charlie had to check out from hotel we still haven't found any safe place to stay. He is overwhelmed and his medical and mental conditions were triggered badly. We had to cancel amtrak to other safer state due to heavy luggage (wheelchair, suitcase, bags) and he had to spend whole night and day on the street in the heat. He is hurt and has difficulty to move and speak rn, but managed to get to a hotel room we booked for the night. We'll see what we can do from there, your donations matter even small ones, we appreciate all the help we are getting. If anyone is looking for a roommate or has a room for rent please contact us (I'll keep updating as much as I can but I have unstable internet, - Neil)
